  • DIWA has trained 30 Imams in computer literacy and research skills to use DVD-ROM e-libraries of Islamic scholarship.
  • DIWA has supported the strengthening of CSOs through establishing an NGO network in Niger State.

  • DIWA in partnership with IET has conducted a number of activities aimed at repelling key religious misinterpretations by extremist groups in a way the public can appreciate and apply in the Nigeria context for better peaceful co-existence.
  • DIWA’s “Faith-based Advocacy against Religious Extremism” Project, has distributed over 150,000 copies of Islamic literatures to grassroots organizations throughout the 37 states of Nigeria including Abuja, as part of efforts to counter extremist ideologies.
