Our Story

The Development Initiative of West Africa (DIWA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities in West Africa. Our thematic areas include: Education, Peacebuilding and good governance, Gender-Based Violence Prevention, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Orphan care, Emergency relief and Socio-economic support.

We take a grassroots approach, partnering with local organizations and carefully monitoring our projects to ensure meaningful and lasting impacts. With a focus on supporting the most vulnerable communities, we strive to make a difference with every contribution.
